Open to girls and boys 9 to 17 years of age.
We utilize .22 rifles in this
program.
We provide ammo, targets, class materials and for the 1st yr. Program, t-shirts. Loaner rifles may be available.
Now the program is only $55!
The SHC’s Youth Rifle Marksmanship Program is run
by NRA Certified Instructors
volunteering their time to
teach the participants safe rifle handling skills, shooting accuracy and reinforcing a positive and
supportive learning
environment.
The
First Year Program:
April 2nd thru May 28th, (each Tuesday from 6-8pm)
involves rifle basics that include learning firearm safety, the parts and their function and basic marksmanship skills from the prone, sitting / kneeling and standing positions.
The
program will involve book work initially.
Once that is complete, we’ll get to the range.
Please plan on being at each session with your child.

The Advanced Program:
May 3rd thru July 19th (1st, 3rd & 5th Friday)
is open to students who have completed our First Year Program.
We’ll focus on refining 3 position shooting at 50 and 25 yards at various targets.
There will be more focus on proficiency and individual improvement.
This program is solely range time.
Please plan on being at each session with your child.
Students who've completed the 1st year program may attend the Advanced Class for $7 / class or pay for the whole season.
Despite what the forms may say, registration is only $55!

The
First Year Program
This National Rifle Association based program starts TBA, 2019 from 6
to 8pm through TBA, 2019.
You'll meet on the 1st / 3rd Tues. of the month.
The
Advanced Program
Students who've completed the First Year Program will start on TBA, 2019 until TBA,
2018.
You'll meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 6 to 8pm.
